The First Offender and other DUI programs are designed to enable participants to consider attitudes and behavior, support positive lifestyle changes, and reduce or eliminate the use of alcohol and/or drugs.
DUI PROGRAM
Persons convicted of a reckless driving offence with a measurable amount of alcohol in their blood, complete a 12-hour DUI alcohol and drug education program. Program Costs: Administrative and Enrollment fee $40 (this is a one-time fee) Hourly Fee for classes and individual sessions $30 |
FIRST OFFENDER PROGRAM
Persons convicted of a first DUI offense will be required to complete an assessment and the 12 hours of alcohol & drug educational classes. In addition, the Courts may assign additional requirements. *Evening sessions available* |
6 MONTH PROGRAM
Second and subsequent DUI offenders can attend a complete 6-month multiple offender programs with 12 hours of alcohol and drug education and biweekly individual therapeutic sessions. Additional hours or community service may also be required by the Courts. |
Persons convicted of a DUI offence must complete a DUI program maintain or reestablish their driver’s license, however the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) makes the final determination based on the driver’s circumstance and driving history.
