Building Stronger Fathers.
Stronger Families.
Powerhouse Community Development Corporation equips noncustodial parents to become self-sufficient, employed, and deeply involved in their children's lives — without the courtroom.
What is the Fatherhood Program?
The Fatherhood Program is administered in partnership with the Missouri Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) to help noncustodial parents avoid appearing before a judge in court. It is an employment-based service that focuses on helping parents achieve financial self-sufficiency.
The program also encourages parents to increase their emotional, parental, and financial involvement in the lives of their children — building not just better providers, but better parents.
Parents also receive education on the enforcement process — including income withholding and license suspension — so they fully understand both the importance of meeting their obligations and the support available to help them do so.
